Mission Statement

The Cowan Slavin Foundation (also doing business as Two Twelve Arts) is a small family foundation established in Massachusetts in 1962.

 

We currently make grants in New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan and California, generally in the $15,000-$25,000 range.

 

We focus on charities for people with medical needs, the homeless, the elderly, and at-risk children and teens. We also support arts programs that connect to local communities.

 

We look for organizations with limited resources and strong volunteer support where our relatively small grants may have a meaningful impact.
